High Salary SG

J.R. Smith-Cleveland Cavaliers (5,000): Even though there aren’t any stars tonight at SG, which of the affordable options you go with could go a long way in determining whether you finish in the cash or go home empty-handed tonight.  Smith is one of the options I like the most because he does get very reliable playing time. He played at least 34 minutes in all the Cavs’ wins over the Pistons in Round 1 and had over 22 fantasy points in the first three games of the series.  In Game 4 he had 15 points but contributed only one rebound for his non-scoring stats which limited him to just 18.75 fantasy points. Tonight, he should continue to get plenty of time on the court next to the “Big 3” of the Cavs and produce solid numbers as a result. ∗∗

Kyle Korver-Atlanta Hawks (4,500): Korver also saw plenty of minutes in his team’s first round win and had at least ten points in each of the Hawks’ last five games.  He finished with at least 23 fantasy points in each of those five contests as a result of his non-scoring stats and approached a double-double in several games with seven or more rebounds.  It’s a new matchup against J.R. Smith and the Cavs, but Korver is definitely stepping things up in the playoffs after an underwhelming finish to the season.
