High Salary C

Al Horford-Atlanta Hawks (7,600): The big name at center tonight is definitely Al Horford who had a very solid series against the Celtics in Round 1. He averaged 12.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.7 blocks.  He had over 42 fantasy points in two of the six games against Boston and at least 26 fantasy points in each of those contests.  Even in a tougher matchup in the middle against the Cavs, Horford is a safe pick to get around 30 fantasy points. He could go off, but what you are paying for with Horford is very little risk of a bust while the rest of the options at center each carry a lot of risk.

Tim Duncan-San Antonio Spurs (5,000):  The reason Duncan is risky is that it’s hard to know how much the Spurs will need from the veteran big man after only playing him for 21 minutes in their Game 1 rout.  He totaled 15.4 fantasy points in that time with eight points, two boards, and two assists.  He had a solid 12-point, nine-rebound game against OKC at the end of the regular season when he posted 28.3 fantasy points, but he has been under 20 fantasy points in each of his last three games in the playoffs.
