High Value C

Steven Adams-Oklahoma City Thunder (4,600): Since the Thunder can’t leave Enes Kanter on the floor in the middle with his defensive deficiencies, look for Adams to get all the playing time he can handle tonight against Aldridge and Duncan. In the closeout game against Dallas, Adams played 38 minutes and had 29.5 fantasy points on 15 points and ten boards.  He had ten more rebounds in Game 1 against the Spurs but only had nine points for 22 fantasy points. He has at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five playoff games, so I think he’s the lowest risk of all the risky options in the middle outside of the expensive Al Horford.

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,500): Thompson only managed 15 or more fantasy points once in the Cavs’ first round series. He did have a strong game in Game 3 with eight points, ten boards, and two blocks for 26.5 fantasy points and played 30+ minutes in three of the four contests.  He will get plenty of time on the floor again tonight as the Cavs take on Atlanta, but he is a riskier option than Adams since he has a tendency to put up empty minutes and is just as limited offensively as Adams.
