FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-May 2
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,600): Westbrook was a huge disappointment to his owners in Game 1 of the series against the Spurs finishing with a playoff-low 31.9 fantasy points on just 14 points, nine assists, two boards, and two steals. He shot a miserable 5-19 from the field and wasn’t able to put together the kind of numbers we are used to seeing from the triple-double machine. I think he’ll bounce back with a big game tonight, but there is definitely some risk involved after the Thunder laid a serious dud in Game 1 as a team.∗∗
Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,800): It seems like a long time ago, but Kyrie had an impressive first round series against the Pistons totaling at least 30 fantasy points in all four games of the Cavs’ sweep and finishing with 42.1 fantasy points on 31 points in Game 4. He also had 31 points in Game 1 of that series when he posted a postseason-high of 51 fantasy points. Jeff Teague and the Hawks struggled at times with Isaiah Thomas in the first round, so I expect Kyrie to keep putting up good numbers in this series starting with a big game tonight. ∗∗∗
