RB. Stanford. Christian McCaffrey. 31. player. 87.
Somebody is going to fall in love with Christian McCaffrey. It is just as simple as that.

Many have been skeptical of McCaffrey’s insane collegiate production at Stanford, including the fact that he was snubbed out of Heisman Trophy votes in 2015. However, he brings a great deal of talent, size and speed to the table, and there isn’t a person in the NFL world who would actually doubt the way he has produced on the field.

The rising junior running back accumulated 2,019 yards (on 6.0 yards per carry) and 19 touchdowns during his first season as the full-time starter for Stanford, and that speaks for itself. Where McCaffrey separates though, is in his versatility, and he also caught 45 passes for 645 yards while serving as an electrifying kick and punt returner for the Cardinal.

There is a stigma attached to McCaffrey in that some assume that he is “small” because of all the things that he can do on the field. However, he stands at 6-foot-1 and more than 200 pounds, proving those doubts to be untrue, and McCaffrey’s measurables are quite impressive for a future NFL prospect.

It probably won’t be the Panthers, but an NFL team will take Christian McCaffrey higher than he is projected to go, and everyone will silently nod.
