High Salary PG

Kyrie Irving — Cleveland Cavaliers (8,300) ****

Irving only played 22 minutes, but made an impact all over the court. He went 4-5 from long-range, totaling 19 points, two rebounds, and six assists. Irving definitely made his mark on the Atlanta Hawks, as the Cavaliers steamrolled them, 123-98. Whenever your team is up 74-38 at halftime, you know you are having a great game. In my opinion, the Cavaliers are just continuing their postseason dominance, and are a hot team. Irving is a big part of his team’s success, and he will help lead your team to a big win as well.

Russell Westbrook — Oklahoma City Thunder (10,800) ***

While Russell Westbrook is an elite player, for some reason I’m not very high on him going into Game 3 of the Thunder/Spurs series. It could be because the Spurs probably should have won Game 2, or at least had the referees take another look at the final few seconds. As a result, I fully expect the Spurs to come out with a vengeance and try some ‘scorched Earth’ warfare against the Thunder. Westbrook gets three stars because he is going to be a solid contributor; just know that the Spurs will focus on shutting him down.
