Vince Velasquez-Philadelphia Phillies (10,200)

Velasquez has been great for the Phillies this season and the 23-year old will make his sixth start of the season against the Marlins in Miami tonight. Velasquez had faced the other NL East opponents, but he has het to take on the Fish.

Velasquez was absolutely lights out in his second start of the season fanning 16 and allowing three hits in a complete game shutout.  He posted a massive 59.5 fantasy points in that outing, and he has that kind of upside every time he takes the mound.

He struggled in his two outings right after that dominant start, but he looked really good his last time out allowing just two hits in six shutout innings against the Indians to lower his ERA to 1.44 on the season.  His 39 K’s in 31 innings showcase his upside, and he will look to come up big for the Phillies again tonight after they dropped three of four in St. Louis to start the week.
