Madison Bumgarner-San Francisco Giants (10,900)

Bumgarner would be my top play if I was going to spend top dollar on an “Ace” on this Friday night. MadBum hasn’t been his usual consistent self and comes into tonight’s outing 3-2 with a 3.03 ERA in his six starts.

However, he’s always a good play at home where he is 1-1 with a 2.29 ERA in three starts (3.94 road ERA).  He’ll be making his first start of the season against the Rockies who he went 2-0 against in two starts last season striking out 11 in his 13.2 innings against them.

Bumgarner should be set up for success at AT&T Park tonight, and he’s very low-risk since ehe has at least seven strikeouts in each of his last five starts and has totaled over 24 fantasy points in each of his last three starts.
