81.
Buddy Hield was one of the feel good stories of this NCAA season. He is a high-volume, efficient scorer with an unending work ethic, who also stayed all four years in college and will now reach the pinnacle of his craft. What’s not to like?

The Raptors are the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs and find themselves with the luxury of being able to add a lottery talent to their roster next season. If DeMar DeRozan decides to leave via free agency things could get hairy in the interim, but all signs point to him sticking around and growing with backcourt buddy Kyle Lowry.

The Raptors hit the jackpot in the second round last year with Norman Powell, and have some budding young talent in Bruno Caboclo and Lucas “Bebe” Nogueira. But NBA teams are always looking for shooters. Hield is probably just as much a scorer as he is shooter, but when you have a true shooting percentage of 66.5 with a ridiculous usage rate of 30.22 you can be both.

The question becomes, can he succeed in the Association as a 6-4 shooting guard? If he can improve some of his ball handling skills and become a bit of a combo guard, then his value improves exponentially, but for now he will help any club who wants a 46 percent shooter from 3-point distance.
