24.
The Chicago Bulls are already rumored to be looking to move up in the draft to nab a point guard, but if someone the caliber of Jackson is available they might not need to. The prevailing thought seems to be that hometown kid Tyler Ulis would be a great fit for the Bulls, and while I’m not denying that, I simply think Demetrius Jackson will be a better pro than Ulis. And really it’s not close for me.

Jackson has the ability to create his own shot at 6-1 and he showed great poise working out of the pick-and-roll this past season at Notre Dame. Jackson is what is known as a shot-maker more than a shooter, as evidenced by his 33 percent clip from distance his junior season. However, he seemingly hit every big shot for the Fighting Irish as well.

He’s a tough-minded, hard-nosed, battle-tested 21-year-old who is polished as a leader and point guard. The Bulls need a backup point guard in the worst way and some new energy from Jackson may be a spark to help push Derrick Rose & Co. back to the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference. With E’Twuan Moore and Aaron Brooks both free agents it just makes sense for Chicago to get a point guard. Jackson should be their top selection.

To read more about Demetrius Jackson, <a href=. PG. Notre Dame. Demetrius Jackson. 14. player
