100. Ante Zizic is one of the most intriguing international prospects to declare for this year’s draft. He stands 6-11 and at age 19 has worlds of potential moving forward with his career. His transition to the NBA style will ultimately be the telling factor on whether or not he will have staying power.
Zizic’s energy is evident as soon as you start watching him play and he defends with such fervor that it appears to be almost contagious for his teammates as well. He’s already shown a propensity to defend well when put in a pick-and-roll situation although his lateral foot speed is still in question when faced with a quicker opponent.

The Pacers will certainly have a void in their front court as both Ian Mahinmi and Jordan Hill hit free agency this summer leaving Lavoy Allen and Rakeem Christmas (who spent pretty much his entire rookie season in the D-League) as the only real post players left. The Pacers need to satisfy their superstar Paul George’s insatiable appetite for winning so if they can’t bring back Mahinmi it’s feasible Zizic could come over right away having just worked out a buyout with Cibona. However, don’t be too surprised if Zizic stays in Europe at least one more year to really put the finishing touches on his already immense skillset.

To read more about Ante Zizic, <a href=.
