This 7-1, 19-year old has the unenviable task of being compared to the likes of Kevin Durant and Kevin Garnett — both future Hall of Famers — simply based off one or two amazing highlight videos. <p>In reality, Maker has a ton of work to do. Yes, he can handle the rock a little bit, yes he can shoot it a little bit too, but the reality unfortunately doesn’t match the hype at this point. The good news for Thon is that his upside is still so astronomical that a team here in the late first might be willing to take a chance on him, as long as he understands he has a lot of work to do.
