41. Brice Johnson is a senior who benefitted greatly from staying all four years at the University of North Carolina. Johnson only started his final two seasons but this past year was the big one that thrust him onto NBA radars and ultimately in the first round.

He averaged 16.9 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks for UNC while shooting a blistering 61.4 percent on almost 11 attempts per night. Johnson really improved the range on his jump shot as he regularly hit 15-18 footers last season and his athleticism allows him to hit turn around shots over many opponents even though he’s only 6-9. Many times Johnson let his raw emotion get the best of him and that’s a concern moving forward because while was all love someone who can be vulnerable on the court, if it affects their play negatively it’s not good.

The Golden State Warriors are coming off arguably the greatest season in NBA history after going 73-9. They are in the midst of attempting to successfully defend their 2015 NBA title as well. Adding a talent like Johnson to the mix could be beneficial moving forward especially when you consider that Anderson Varejao, Mareese Speights and Festus Ezeli will all hit free agency this summer.
