86.
Jamal Murray had a spectacular freshman season at the University of Kentucky, averaging 20 points and 5.2 rebounds with shooting splits of .45/.41/.78. The enigmatic 6-5 guard could be found shooting arrows through the hearts of opposition fans all season long. If he was a little more athletic, he might be talked about as the prize of this draft. He played alongside Tyler Ulis last season, so he was able to work off the ball and was really successful in that role.

His versatility and ability to play either guard position weighs heavily in his favor. While he’s a tad undersized for an NBA shooting guard, I believe that’s his best position because point guards in today’s NBA are some of the more explosive athletes in the entire league. Murray is knock-down shooter, which Minnesota desperately needs after they shot a collective 33.8 percent from deep in 2015/16. Murray should feel right at home next to fellow Canadian Andrew Wiggins and he could have a nice role as a sniper off the bench for the Wolves.

Now if Minnesota could only combine Zach LaVine and Murray, they would have one of the more elite combos of athleticism and shooting at the two guard position.
