Vince Wilfork decided to wear the gigantic overalls he wore on Hard Knocks last summer to Houston Texans teammate J.J. Watt’s softball event on Saturday.

Houston Texans defensive tackle Vince Wilfork is one of the biggest men in the NFL. However, that doesn’t hold him back as also one of the league’s most athletically gifted players. Wilfork has a unique sense of fashion.

During last season of HBO’s Hard Knocks, Wilfork donned some gigantic overalls to the Texans’ facility during training camp. On Saturday, Wilfork brought the famous overalls back into the public eye when he decided those overalls would be the perfect uniform for teammate J.J. Watt’s softball event at nearby Minute Maid Park in Houston.

While Wilfork is definitely a popular guy with the Texans, he is best known for being an absolute wrecking ball both collegiately with the Miami Hurricanes and the ferociously athletic nose tackle for Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots.

Don’t let Wilfork’s 350+ pound frame fool you, the guy is probably the most athletic player in the NFL over 300 pounds. Back with the Patriots, Wilfork was seriously the team’s emergency quarterback, as he could sling the pigskin well over 60 yards through the air.

While he is not in his prime any longer, Wilfork will almost certainly earn enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame soon after he does call it a career. He’s already accomplished so much on the gridiron, but still probably has two more lofty goals to achieve before calling it quits: 1.) Win another Super Bowl as part of an on-the-rise Texans team. 2.) Get a lucrative overall endorsement. Levi’s, Oshkosh B’Gosh, where you at?

Will that style of denim truly make a comeback in today’s fashion landscape? With a marquee athlete like Wilfork, who’s to say that overalls aren’t just for larger than life farm boys?
