High Salary C

Bismack Biyombo-Toronto Raptors (6,200): According to coach Dwane Casey, Jonas Valanciunas was “nowhere close to being ready to play” on Friday of last week meaning he is unlikely to be back for Game 1 tomorrow.  That will leave the middle for Bismack Biyombo to prowl once again as the Raptors face the Cavs. Biyombo had a monster game in Game 7 yesterday finishing with 17 points and 16 boards for a massive 44 fantasy points. Biyombo has at least 26 fantasy points in each of the four games he filled in for Valanciunas, and he’ll look to keep his momentum going against the Cavs.  He isn’t in quite as good of a matchup as he was last series against the Heat missing Hassan Whiteside, but he is still the safest big man on the board in the Game 1’s the next two days. ∗∗

Steven Adams-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,900): Adams was awesome throughout the Spurs series with at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games and double-double’s in each of those four contests.  The only risk with Adams is that his minutes could be severely limited against the Warriors who force opponents to match up with their small ball lineups.  Adams averaged 8.3 points and 6.7 rebounds while playing an average of 27 minutes per game against Golden State in the regular season, and despite his recent success the matchup makes him high risk in Game 1 on Monday. ∗∗
