J.R. Smith-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,900): Even before he was leading the Cavaliers three-point shooting barrage in the last round, Smith was a nice play for DFS since he gets some many minutes on a nightly basis with the Cleveland starting lineup. Smith played at least 34 minutes in seven of the Cavs’ eight playoff games and has at least 21 fantasy points in five of those games. Smith had a couple of down games on the road in Game 3 and Game 4 against Atlanta finishing with only 15.1 and 9.4 fantasy points, but I think he’ll bounce back and be very involved going forward in the Conference Finals. ∗∗∗

Terrence Ross-Toronto Raptors (3,500): Of the rest of the cheap SG, my favorite option of the two Game 1’s is Terrence Ross who played at least 18 minutes in each of the Raptors seven games against the Heat and had at least 9.9 fantasy points in all but one of those contests. Ross scored in double-figures in three of the first four games in the series and finished with eight points, two steals, and two rebounds for 13.4 fantasy points in Game 7. Ross doesn’t get the run of J.R., but he does get enough opportunities to score coming off the bench for Toronto that I think he makes sense in Game 1 when the Raptors will be in search of scoring to keep up with the Cavs. ∗∗
