High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,000): Durant had 37 points in the close-out game against the Spurs on his way to 48.8 fantasy points. He had a solid series against San Antonio with at least 38 fantasy points in four of the last five games  and over 48 fantasy points in two of the last three.  Durant averaged an impressive 36.3 points, 6.3 assists, 3.6 blocks, and 12 rebounds against the Warriors in their three meetings this season, so KD should be primed for a monster series. With Draymond ailing, Durant is the top forward I’d spend on in Game 1 and the star I think you have to own regardless of what else you do in tonight’s competition.

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,000): LeBron and the Cavs crushed the Hawks and earned another long layoff due to their sweep while Toronto and Miami battled for seven games.  Cleveland hasn’t played in over a week, but the last time they did James narrowly missed a triple-double for the second straight game. In Game 3, James had 24 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists for 50.6 fantasy points, and he followed that up with 21 points, ten boards, and nine assists for 46.5 fantasy points.  He has at least 43 fantasy points in each of his last six games in the playoffs, and he is a safe and solid investment in Game 1 who definitely has the potential to explode if the Cavs need him to in order to help them get off to a good start against Toronto.  Much more than the other game, though, there is a definite chance that this game gets lopsided, so James could play fewer minutes than Durant if Toronto doesn’t show and the Cavs run away early.
