Gennady Golovkin was a pretty big fan of the punch that Rougned Odor nailed Jose Bautista with

Without question, the biggest story in the world of sports over the course of the last 24 hours has been the brawl that broke out on Sunday between the Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays. Furthermore, the portion of that brawl that has really stolen the spotlight is the punch that Rougned Odor blasted Jose Bautista with that set everything off.

One of the things that stood out to a lot of people was just how nice of a punch that was from Odor, who connected directly to the face of Bautista. He’s been receiving a lot of praise for his technique, but the praise that he received on Monday has to take the cake from them all.

Maybe the most powerful puncher in the sport of boxing at the moment, Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, took to his Twitter account to offer up some nice words about the punch from Odor.

Hey, when you get some love for a punch from someone the likes of Golovkin, you can’t really ask for much more than that. But, again, it really was a pretty solid shot, especially for not even being a sucker punch.

Maybe if Canelo Alvarez doesn’t want to face GGG, then Odor could take his place.
