DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-May 17 & 18
High Salary SF
LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,800): LeBron and the Cavs crushed the Hawks and earned another long layoff due to their sweep while Toronto and Miami battled for seven games. Cleveland hasn’t played in over a week, but the last time they did James narrowly missed a triple-double for the second straight game. In Game 3, James had 24 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists for 55.75 fantasy points, and he followed that up with 21 points, ten boards, and nine assists for 52 fantasy points. He has at least 46 fantasy points in each of his last six games in the playoffs, and he is a safe and solid investment in Game 1 who definitely has the potential to explode if the Cavs need him to in order to help them get off to a good start against Toronto. Much more than the other game, though, there is a definite chance that this game gets lopsided, so James could play fewer minutes than Durant if Toronto doesn’t show and the Cavs run away early. ∗∗∗
Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,200): Durant had a little bit of a down game in Game 1, but OKC still pulled out the win. A down game for KD id definitely a relative thing since his 50.5 fantasy points are still solid production on 26 points, ten rebounds, three assists, and three steals. He usually shoots the ball better than he did in his 42 minutes in Game 1 (10-30 FG, 1-4 3Pt), so look for back over 50 fantasy points in Game 2. He feasts on this matchup against Golden State, so he’ll be in my lineup more often than not throughout the Conference Finals.∗∗∗∗∗
