Marquese Chriss . 11. player. 38.
Washington’s Marquese Chriss is one of the draft’s biggest boom-or-bust prospects, the type of potential home run that will make fans excited, but also concerned that he may be just a harmless pop fly. Not yet 19-years old, Chriss is one of the youngest prospects in the class, which means he has plenty of time to fulfill his potential at the next level.

At 6-10 with a 7-0.25 wingspan, Chriss has good size to play the power forward spot. He flashed impressive athleticism playing in the Huskies’ up-tempo offensive scheme where he regularly delivered thunderous dunks in transition. Chriss also has a nice looking jumper and made 21 of his 60 three-point attempts this season.

Chriss’ best spot in the NBA is as a modern day stretch four, but at the combine, he told reporters he models his game after Rudy Gay, a small forward. The problem is that Chriss has very little chance of defending small forwards like Paul George, Kevin Durant, and Lebron James. He struggled staying engaged on defense in college and in order to be successful in the NBA, he’ll need to embrace his role as a floor-spacing big man who can get buckets with regularity.

To read more about Marquese Chriss, <a href=.
