2. With Kings for DeMarcus Cousins

One of the most highly sought after trade targets this offseason is undoubtedly going to be Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins. While this isn’t the first time that the Kings have been rumored to have Cousins available in the right deal, the organization feels like they may a bit more serious about that if the right “King’s ransom” type of deal were to come across the line as an offer for Boogie.

Though there would obviously have to be more involved, an offer from the Sixers with the No. 1 pick at the center of it would certainly be the right way to start off that type of deal. Throw in the fact that the 76ers also have a bevy of assets already on their roster in the form of players like Okafor, Nerlens Noel, and so on. As such, Philadelphia could quite easily put together a package that it’d be incredibly difficult for the Kings to turn down.

Perhaps the Kings would ultimately demand more than the 76ers would be willing to give and wouldn’t want to give up the pick and a player like an Okafor for anyone, even Cousins. However, that looks like a deal that could ultimately allow both teams to start fresh in new directions that would benefit each of them.
