1. With Bulls for Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler has quite clearly established himself as one of the premiere players in all of the NBA over the past few seasons. The Chicago Bulls guard has come up big time and time again for his team and can lead his team on both ends of the floor. Even while putting up numbers when healthy last season, though, Butler quite clearly butted heads with new Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg.

Though the Bulls have publicly denied it, the likelihood that Butler could be dealt this offseason seems to be increasing by the minute. If that’s the case, the Sixers would be absolutely crazy not to try and pounce on that and to use the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft to try to bring in one of the best players in the league, one of the best at his position at a position of need for Philly.

Obviously it’s going to take some work to make the money work in a swap for Butler and the No. 1 pick, but it could be done for sure. And the Sixers would get an asset that would really take them to a new level almost right away. Moreover, the Bulls would have a chance to try and start fresh as the old guard seemingly isn’t surviving under Hoiberg. In theory, it’d work all around and fans would get a rush of excitement without question.
