2. Other stars will follow

Let’s be honest, the Miami Heat have no issue bringing big stars to the team. With the tremendous culture and tax advantages, playing for the Heat is a huge plus for any superstar in the league.

If Durant is to land in Miami, other stars will follow him there and the Heat will remain contenders in the Eastern Conference. While Dwyane Wade is getting older and it’s not quite obvious how much longer he has in the league, he’s another great piece to have on the roster.

However, they don’t have to worry about that with Durant on the roster. Other players are going to want to play for Miami. Superstars that are tired of losing or disgruntled will see Durant in Miami and do everything they can to join him there.

Add in the rising salary cap and the money the Heat should have, then they are in a great spot to get other players around their newfound superstar.

They also have some good young talent on the roster and plenty of pieces to make them a championship team. That’s just the way the league has become these days. Superstars follow superstars and the Heat have already proven that it can work.
