5. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers do things their own way, especially when it comes to their uniform. Maybe it isn’t the best looking there is, but it is original, mostly due to the helmet.

Only one helmet in the league features a logo on one side and a logo on the other. The reason for this is even better, as team owner Art Rooney asked the team to place the logo on just one side as a test. The team liked how it looked, but decided not to put the logo on the other side following that season because they had a winning season and the look attracted attention.

Pittsburgh also has prominently featured their black and gold colors (other than the added red and blue on the Steeler logo). The only exception was during the 1940s when they featured green and white uniforms.

Fans all across the country proudly show their Steeler-pride by displaying their famous logo, and the team epitomizes the steel city with their hard work attitude and throwback style to approaching the game. Whether it is the white road jersey or the black home on top of the bright pants, this team looks good while playing football.

The only hiccup in the Steelers uniform is their atrocious throwback uniform which looks like a bumble bee inmate jumpsuit. That one may need to be retired.
