4. Dallas Cowboys

America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys! All you need to see to recognize this team is their blue star. They have a classic look, which needs no changing and really throughout the years hasn’t changed much, except for the early days and a mistake during the mid-1990s when someone mistakenly added colored sleeves and a star on those colored sleeves.

That look made a return this past Thanksgiving during the NFL’s hopefully soon to be retired “color rush” experiment. While I applaud Dallas for trying to honor the past, which they used to do on Thanksgiving much like the Lions did, this one was not a pleasant site.

The current look however needs no change. The team wears their white uniforms unless forced to change by their opponents, and the look is a thing of beauty. The plain blue numbers and names, the silver pants with one white and two small blue stripes look great with the giant blue socks.

What tops it all off is the silver helmet which mirrors the pants in terms of the white and blue stripes. Then, on the sides, their iconic blue star. Sure, team owner Jerry Jones is a lightning rod for jokes, but the way the team looks when they walk out onto the best stadium in all of football is nothing to laugh at.

The best part is, there is no reason to think this look is going anywhere anytime soon.
