Twitter had plenty to say after LeBron James got hit in the face against the Toronto Raptors.
Things between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors got chippy in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, as the Raptors finally began to show a little more fight and self-respect after getting beat bad in the first two games of the series.
There was even a little scrum late in the second half, which led to LeBron James being hit in the face and hitting the deck. When a player such as James gets hit in the dome, it’s a big deal and as expected, social media had plenty to say about the whole ordeal. Twitter was almost ruthless with their treatment of James.
@KingJames is one of the greats but that flop was silly #BronBeingBron

Hey, it's #NBAPlayoffs. @KingJames gotta do what he's gotta do for the W.

Needless to say Twitter thought James was acting and they took the opportunity that they got to jump all over him for getting hit in the face.
While he was indeed hit in the face during the scrum, it looked like he flopped as he slid down the court like a baseball player trying to steal home.
Still, it was a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and James learned the hard way not to get in the middle.
