High Value PF

Serge Ibaka-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,000): Ibaka still played 30 minutes in Game 2 but struggled badly with just three points to go with eight rebounds and three steals on his way to 18.6 fantasy points. He should bounce back, though, as the Thunder return home in Game 3. He had a double-double in Game 1 on his way to 26.7 fantasy points and he should be able to be around 25 fantasy points again in his next contest making him a solid investment at just 5K.

Patrick Patterson-Toronto Raptors (4,000): Patterson and Channing Frye were both cheap PF plays that came through in Game 3.  Patterson played 30 minutes and totaled ten points, six boards, an assist, and a steal for 20.7 fantasy points. He has at least 14 fantasy points in each of his last six playoff games and should keep getting plenty of playing time against the Cavs since the Raptors can’t go too small against Cleveland based on the matchup. Patterson isn’t likely to go off for a huge game, but he can give you very solid numbers for just 4K. ∗∗

Channing Frye-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,000): Frye out-paced his fellow-bargain Patterson by putting up 22.6 fantasy points in his 21 minutes thanks to 11 points, three rebounds, a block, and three steals.  Frye has played well in his expanded role coming off the Cavaliers’ bench since the second round against Atlanta.  He has double-digit fantasy points in each of his last seven games and is worth a look at his afford 4K salary. I think Patterson is a little safer pick, but Frye has a higher ceiling ∗∗
