The 2013 NBA Finals will go down as one of the most exciting and thrilling Finals series in the post-Michael Jordan era, certainly, and perhaps ever.

In Game Six, the San Antonio Spurs were mere seconds away from clinching the title, the ropes were surrounding the court for the postgame trophy presentation when Ray Allen drained a 3-pointer to force overtime. The Heat survived and went on to win Game Seven.

There was major doubt though after this Game Three performance.

San Antonio took firm control of the series with the series shifting to the AT&T Center with this 36-point beatdown.

The Spurs beat the Heat 63-33 in the second half, scoring 35 points in the fourth quarter alone. Danny Green continued a 3-point tear through the series with 27 points on 7-for-9 shooting from beyond the arc. And Gary Neal had 24 points with six 3-pointers.

LeBron James had 15 points on 7-for-21 shooting and failed to get the line. The Spurs just kept making shot after shot.

It could have knocked Miami down, but the Heat came back in Game Four with a 16-point win to even the series and retake home court advantage.
