Kevin Durant ignores metal detectors entering Oracle Arena before Game 7 (Video)
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant decided to walk right by metal detectors and security entering Oracle Arena before Game 7.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the verge of one of the biggest collapses in NBA Playoffs history as they get ready to take the floor against the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.
After taking a commanding 3-1 series lead against Golden State, the Warriors stormed back to win the next two and now the series defining game will take place on the Warriors’ floor in front of a raucous crowd that will be behind their team all the way.
With a big game taking place, Kevin Durant showed up to the arena with headphones on and was ready to hit the floor from the beginning. Instead of walking through the metal detector and going through security like the rest of the players, Durant walked right on past everyone and didn’t bother to stop for security.
It’s hard to blame him with the biggest game of his career about to go down in Game 7. With Durant heading for free agency, this could very well be his last game as a member of the Thunder if they blow this series.
With a lot on his mind, there was simply no time to remove the shoes and send the laptop on through.
