10. LeGarrette Blount

Running back LeGarrette Blount was a horrible teammate when he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers. His first (and only) year with the team, he and superstar running back Le’Veon Bell showed up late for a flight to a preseason game because they were busy driving around high.

Later in the season, Bell emerged as one of the best running backs in the entire league. Where did that leave Blount? On the sidelines. In his 11 games with the Steelers in 2014, Blount racked up only 266 yards, an average of 24.2 yards per game. That same year, Bell ran for 1,361 yards, averaging 85.1 yards per game.

Unlike DeAngelo Williams, Bell’s current backup, Blount couldn’t handle being the second-string guy. So, he did what any primadonna, entitled athlete would do. He walked out during the game. Yes, during the Steelers 2014 Week 11 game against the Titans, Blount became sulky and agitated that Bell was getting all of the carries. Keep in mind, Bell was highly effective that day, racking up over 200 yards on 33 carries en route to a Steelers 27-24 victory over the Titans.

Apparently, Blount felt no joy in the victory or his teammates success. It was all about him, and he acted accordingly. The Steelers ended up releasing Blount. When Bell became injured at the end of the 2014 season, the team found itself lacking depth at running back, part of the reason the Steelers lost to the Ravens in the wild card game that year.

What became of Blount? He was signed by the New England Patriots and went on to win the Super Bowl.
