Admit it: You’ve never personally seen Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood in the same place at the same time.

You’re probably aware of the fact that actors Daniel Radcliffe, of Harry Potter fame, and Elijah Wood, the lead Hobbit in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, look pretty similar. Now get ready to see just how little it takes to turn one of them into the other:

This clip has been circulating around the internets for about five days in GIF form, and looks to have started where most awesome online stuff does, on Reddit. Major media outlets have picked up on it too, including our corporate big sibling, Entertainment Weekly.

Though Wood is nine years older than Radcliffe, he’s always had enough of a baby face that he honestly doesn’t look it. They might not pass for twins, but there’s been plenty of confusion between the two of them in real life, with Radcliffe telling The Graham Norton Show that he once signed a photo for a fan in Japan with the inscription, “I am not Elijah Wood. Love, Daniel Radcliffe,” because he didn’t feel he’d have enough time to explain.
