The Golden State Warriors had no trouble dispatching the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

156. Final. 110. 41. 77

The Cleveland Cavaliers are in trouble.

After the Cavaliers and Warriors battled back and forth in a strong first quarter that looked promising for Cleveland, things quickly fell apart for the Cavaliers on Sunday night.

Once again, it was neither Klay Thompson or Stephen Curry shouldering the load for the Warriors again. That isn’t saying they played poor like Game 1, because both played great and fed off of their teammates this time around.

It was a total team effort and by the end of the second quarter, the game was teetering on a blowout, until LeBron James went on a run to pull the Cavaliers within single digits.

In the third quarter, things officially collapsed for Cleveland and shots that probably shouldn’t have gone in, found their way into the nets for the Warriors just as they always do. Garbage time rolled around by the end of the third and the teams began emptying the bench. Kevin Love would also leave the game during the quarter after a previous elbow to the head in the game sent him to concussion protocol.

Now, the Cavaliers have to either win four out of the next five games, which is an uphill task. As for the Warriors, they have to like where they are in the series.

3. Leandro Barbosa

Barbosa was once again a spark off the bench and helped create some big shots that helped pull the Warriors away from Cleveland.

Thompson hit some ridiculous threes in a 17-point night. That kept the Cavaliers from making a run.

1. Draymond Green

Green was the heart of the Warriors on all ends of the floor. He made an impact on both the boards and scoring the ball. He also played great defense. He finished with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
