118. Henry Ellenson is another player who has slowly seen his draft stock dwindle. Once slated as a top-7 pick, Ellenson has fallen, but could wind up in a more ideal situation because of it. The 19-year old, 6-10 power forward is a beast on the boards and while minutes won’t likely be available right away in Utah, he could stand to learn under Rudy Gobert, Derrick Favors and Jeff Withey.

Ellenson was a rebounding menace at Marquette averaging 9.7 boards as a freshman and gobbling up 25 percent of defensive rebounds when he was on the floor. The powerful forward also notched 17 points a night for the Golden Eagles and blocked almost 1.5 shots per game as well. While he’s not billed as a rim protector at the next level, showing those instincts and the timing to block shots is a plus. His defensive abilities are one of the main question marks heading into the draft, but all signs point to him being at least an average defender.

The other red flag is after being tabbed a stretch four, Ellenson couldn’t even eclipse 30 percent (28.8) from 3-point land in the NCAA ranks. Some of that may have been due to the difficulty level of his shots and not having a quality table-setter at the PG position, however the concern still looms. His mechanics look good, so NBA teams will undoubtedly expect better numbers moving forward.
