Catcher

High-Salary Option: Jonathan Lucroy-Milwaukee Brewers (3,600): Lucroy is 4-6 in his career against Bartolo Colon and should get back on track after a tough 0-4 last night cooled off his 9-19 (.474) start to the month of June.  He has been especially good at home, so as long as he gets the call behind the plate again tonight, he’s a good option against the veteran Colon. ∗∗

Mid-range Option: Matt Wieters-Baltimore Orioles (3,000): Wieters went 0-3 with a walk last night against the Royals, but he’ll look to get his bat back in gear tonight as well as he and the O’s head North of the border to face the Jays. Wieters went 3-7 in his first series against the Jays this season with a home run which came against tonight’s starter Marcus Stroman.

Mid-range Option: J.T. Realmuto-Miami Marlins (2,700): Realmuto has hit in four straight and six of his last seven starts after going 1-4 with a double and a run scored last night against Minnesota.  He is up to just under .300 for the season and should be in a good matchup to crack that number as he faces Ervin Santana tonight.  Realmuto offers more average than Wieters but doesn’t have quite the same power potential as the Orioles’ backstop.

High-Value Option: Yadier Molina-St. Louis Cardinals (2,500): Molina is 4-12 in his last three contests after being mired in a 0-20 stretch around the turn of the month.  Molina and most of the Cardinals were part of successful stacks yesterday and will be popular again they take on lefty Brandon Finnegan in Cincinnati tonight. Molina is hitting only .226 against lefties this season but his one homer on the year did come off a southpaw.
