Top five best available NFL free agents

After 10 fantastic years with the New Orleans Saints, has former fourth round pick, offensive guard Jahri Evans, played his way into the Pro Football Hall of Fame conversation? Evans is a six-time Pro Bowler and has made four All-Pro teams as arguably the best offensive guard during a six-year window (2009-14).
Evans played so well for Sean Payton’s Saints that he garnered a massive contract in free agency that ultimately crippled the Saints’ salary cap for years to come. Not that Evans didn’t live up to expectations at guard during his contract, but there is a reason you don’t overpay for an offensive guard.
That being said, with the way that offensive lines have struggled under the new collective bargaining agreement, pockets are routinely compromised and many teams will want to upgrade the interior of their offensive line.
Evans will play the 2016 NFL season at 33 years old, which may deter some teams from paying the great interior lineman top dollar. He’s still very good at what he does, though, and could provide some much-needed protection to a franchise quarterback that is spending too much time picking himself up off the turf.
