High Salary OF

Bryce Harper-Washington Nationals (4,200): Harper and the Nationals scored 31 runs in three games before being held to just one in their loss last night.  He’ll look to get them going again as they come home to face Jeremy Hellickson and the Phillies.  Harper is 3-8 in his career against Hellickson with five RBI and is 9-26 (.346) to start the month although he’s still in search of his first long-ball of the month.

Charlie Blackmon-Colorado Rockies (4,100): Blackmon and the Rockies are at home which should be enough of a reason to roll with him, but he’s also had good success in his career against San Diego’s scheduled starter Andrew Cashner.  Blackmon is 6-19 (.316) against Cashner with a homer, two doubles, and three RBI.  So far this season, Blackmon is hitting .316 at home in Coors Field where he should be a good play tonight if the weather holds.

Jacoby Ellsbury-New York Yankees (3,700): Not surprisingly, as the Yankees lineup has started to heat up so has Ellsbury after a slow start to the season.  Ellsbury is now up to .292 on the year after staring June 12-32 (.375) with two doubles, a triple, and a home run.  He isn’t running a ton, but he is still an important part of the Bronx Bombers attack and in a god match tonight against Mike Pelfrey in what I think will be a high-scoring game.

Jackie Bradley Jr.-Boston Red Sox (3,300): JBJ is another left-handed bat that should have a good night in Minnesota where he’ll face Tyler Duffey of the Twins who has struggled with lefties all season. Bradley has cooled considerably lately and is just 3-19 so far in June, but I think he’ll get that turned around starting tonight in Minnesota.
