Cam Newton may be enjoying his offseason playing charity kickball games, but while being interviewed, he noticed something that didn’t sit with him well.

Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers are in the middle of the 2016 NFL offseason, with pre-season games starting in about two months. They are coming off a 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.

On Saturday, Newton competed in a celebrity charity kickball game and was interviewed. During this, a woman tried taking a photo or video of him. The Panther quarterback quickly noticed that the woman had a Denver Broncos phone case, and given the game that happened just four months ago, Newton wasn’t having any of this. He had some fun with it though, showing humor as the woman apologized multiple times.

Well hey, if the Panthers hadn’t lost Super Bowl 50, maybe Cam wouldn’t be upset about this phone case.

The Panthers will come in as a favorite to make the playoffs in 2016, but will need to repeat their great defensive play from last season. Without Josh Norman, who left for Washington, Newton may be scolding someone else about their phone case one year from now. Could it be the Broncos again?
