With six points after two games, Colombia has already clinched a spot in the knockout round of Copa America. They’ve been one of the best teams out on the field during the action. On Saturday against Costa Rica, it wouldn’t be shocking if they rest many of their starters to give them a rest and keep them from being injured.

However, Costa Rica’s chances of moving on in Copa America is very slim. They will need to get three points against Colombia and beat them by a wide margin to improve their -4 goal differential as the US and Paraguay’s goal differentials are higher. Costa Rica has disappointed so far in group stage action that they’ve dug themselves a bigger hole than they can get out of at this point.
