1. Kyrie Irving

All in all Kyrie Irving has not had a bad series.

He is averaging 25.0 points per game including back-to-back 30-point games in Cleveland. Irving seems to have found his groove against the Warriors.

Still the Cavaliers will need more from their star guard.

He has had the focus on him for his ball-handling-heavy style of play and his inability to move the ball — despite the scoring, he has 4.3 assists per game. That is maybe not his role to move the ball and it is just to score. He just cannot slow the game down.

Cleveland has to get the ball moving to have a chance against Golden State. But the Cavaliers still need Irving to score at a high clip.

Golden State only pulled away at the end of the game when Cleveland’s offense began to bog down. Irving scoring 30 points and James doing his thing is a formula that can give Cleveland an opportunity.

On the road against the Warriors, that is all the Cavaliers can ask for. And that is why they will need the Irving they saw for the most part in Cleveland.
