High Value OF

Adam Duvall-Cincinnati Reds (3,200): Duvall connected on his 18th homer of the season last night in the Reds 9-8 win over the Braves.  Five of those long balls have come this month and he has two homers and nine RBI in the last week.  Duvall doesn’t get a ton of hits, but his power potential makes him worth a look if the Reds and Braves are able to get their game in tonight despite weather concerns.

Milky Cabrera-Chicago White Sox (3,000): Cabrera has been red-hot the last week going 11-27 (.407) with four doubles, a homer, and five RBI.  He’s in a tough matchup against Jordan Zimmermann tonight as the White Sox look to make it two in a row over Detroit at U.S. Cellular, but I think he’ll have a nice game if weather doesn’t interfere tonight.

Ryan Braun-Milwaukee Brewers (2,900): Braun is this cheap because he’s playing Madison Bumgarner who isn’t a good matchup for anyone–I get it. However, Braun is actually 8-26 (.308) against MadBum in their previous meetings with three doubles and two homers.  He has been scuffling this month hitting below .200, but he could end up being a steal despite the tough matchup tonight. He’s a boom-or-bust play from below 3K, but there is a ton of upside to getting this much talent for this little salary.

Ichiro Suzuki-Miami Marlins (2,700): Suzuki led off last night and went 3-4 with three runs scored against the Padres for an impressive 28.1 fantasy points. He has at least 15 fantasy points in each of his last four starts and is hitting a crazy .350.  If he’s in the lineup again tonight, he’ll be worth a look even against lefty Drew Pomeranz.

Shin-Soo Choo-Texas Rangers (2,600):  Choo is this cheap because he’s just coming back from injury, but he showed no signs of rust last night going 1-4 with a walk and a homer against the A’s in the Rangers loss.  Choo is a great bargain at this price if he’s in the lineup again tonight.  Double-check that he’s playing since Texas will be cautious with their outfielder, but Choo is a star when he’s at his best, so look to get a bargain if he’s starting tonight against Surkamp and the A’s. ∗∗
