10. Dragan Bender

Pronunciation – Drah-gen Bender

When it comes to pronouncing this name, the easy assumption is to pronounce Dragan as “Dragan” and be done with it. That is not the case however as the “a” is more of an ah sound and the “g” is pronounced like a “j” when used.

One of the top players in this year’s draft, Dragan Bender has a lot of upside and is a very tall prospect with a ton of athleticism. Playing in the Israeli league, the Croatian native is expected to go in the first five picks of the 2016 NBA Draft.

With the way teams like their big men to spread the floor and be able to shoot the basketball, Bender should be able to acclimate himself to the league right away. Add in his height, and he could become a very good player in the league.

He will come into the league as a raw prospect because of the fact that he’s only 18 years old, but it gives him plenty of time to develop. Situation is everything, but wherever he ends up, that team will have to be patient and allow him to grow on his own.

With an awesome name like his, he will quickly become a fan favorite on his new team.
