2) Dean Ambrose
We can rationalize the Money in the Bank match this Sunday night all we want, but when we’re being completely real with each other, there are two guys in this bout that seem to be the most likely to win. One of those men is the “Lunatic Fringe” himself, Dean Ambrose.
As we saw this past Monday night on the go-home edition of RAW, Ambrose grasping that briefcase would make a lot of things very interesting. Most notably, we would finally have all three Shield members surrounding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture, with either Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins as the champ and Ambrose chasing with the wild card of the briefcase in his hand.
We’ve waited so long for the company to put the rocket on the back of Ambrose and shoot him to the top, and when you look at the circumstances at the moment, this might actually be the perfect time to start that process towards Ambrose holding the top belt in the company at some point in the near future.
Could SummerSlam finally feature the Shield triple threat match that we’ve all been clamoring for?
The chances of that happening are very good because the chances of Ambrose getting the nod on Sunday night are about as good as they’ve ever been.
