38.
Kentucky’s Skal Labissiere is another one of the 2016 draft’s high upside front court options, but unlike most of the other prospects in that group, the 20-year old struggled mightily during his lone year in Lexington. Sure, Labissiere’s per 40 minutes numbers were impressive, including 16.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.2 blocks, but the native of Haiti played in just 15.8 minutes per game as he struggled to adjust to the physicality and speed of the college game while committing 7.6 fouls per 40 minutes.

At his best, Labissiere is a primary rim protector — the best skill he showed in Wildcat blue — and a floor spacing jump shooter. At 7-0 with a 7-2.5 wingspan, he has the length required to patrol the paint from either the power forward or center spot. His shooting stroke is immaculate, one of the best in the class and his size means that his jumper will rarely be challenged in the pick-and-pop scenarios that he excels in. The questions surrounding Labissiere’s toughness and basketball IQ remain, but if he can become more comfortable on the court, he could be one of the most dangerous two-way player in the draft class.
