2. A New York Knicks Big 3.

There has been so much talk about a team having to have a “Big 3” if they want to contend for an NBA title. It has been a recipe that has led to Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James going to six straight NBA Finals. If the Knicks can somehow pick up Rose this offseason, it would give them three legitimate scorers, and significantly increase their chances of making the playoffs next year.

Last season, Kristaps Porzingis established himself as one of the best rookies in the NBA. Most Knicks fans were upset when the team took him with the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. Those jeers quickly turned to cheers, as he went on to have one of the more impressive rookie seasons the franchise has seen in recent years.

Carmelo Anthony was also impressed with Porzingis, as the two teamed to form a formidable one-two punch for the Knicks in a disappointing season. Anthony, who is one of the premier scorers in the league, was able to do even more offensively last year due to the fact that defenses had to also focus on Porzingis.

Adding a third scorer to the roster would give Carmelo another piece of the puzzle, and would give the Knicks a “Big 3” of their own.
