10 Best NBA Draft fashion decisions of last decade

4. Damian Lillard (2012)
It’s as if the Weber State guard knew ahead of time that he would find a new home in the rose-covered trails of Portland, Oregon. Damian Lillard adorned his chic, stream-lined sportcoat with a red handkerchief in the breast pocket. A red which matched perfectly with his Trail Blazers cap and decorative basketball.
It was a small, but noticeable addition to an overall solid ensemble choice. The black wings on the top of his coat’s lapel gave him an authoritative, but modernized look – kind of like what Inspector Gadget would look like if he had style and could dunk without telling anything to “Go, go.”
Going into the draft, Lillard was one of the more undervalued and under-appreciated players in the pool. Ironically enough, in a draft full of stacked one-and-doners, the four-year-plan man stuck out more stylistically than any of the other primed superstars that walked the stage five picks before him.
Now that Lillard has proven that he’s a superstar in his own right, he continues to blaze the trail for fashion in the NBA. Not on the wildly aesthetic levels of Russell Westbrook or Kevin Durant, but he knows a good look when he sees (and wears) one.
