1. Steph Curry is still the MVP

How quickly we forget that last year it was the talk of LeBron James taking the MVP of the league to 2-1 being the fuel that led to Curry to taking his first NBA championship. In their three-game run over the Cavaliers he averaged 28 points per game and the Warriors got all the praise.

Now in Game 6 it seemed the entire world shifted back against Curry and back onto team James. Curry threw his mouthpiece, and he and his coach caused a stir by criticizing the officials. While they both took a big fine, typically the next game the star player will get a few calls. It is the most star-driven league of any, and that is what makes it so entertaining. Some questionable calls were made on him, and the league will look at it and adjust.

Aside from that, this is now the biggest “everyone is against you” that a two-time MVP can ask for. Everyone wants him to lose game seven of the NBA Finals at home now. Not only that, he now has James calling him out.

Curry is obviously going to be thinking about tha one as he prepares for game seven. As quiet as it has been Cury has averaged 31 points per game in the past three games and at this point it is hard to doubt that he will get there again.

With a team so consistent, and so due to bounce back from a bad performance there are too many variables in the Warriors direction. They should still be able to take him game seven and their second straight NBA Finals.
