LeBron James went up for a dunk in Game 7 and broke the dreams of Cleveland — and probably his wrist.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are cursed — and we saw about as solid concrete proof of that as we could in Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night.

In a game that Cleveland was very much in a position to win, the only thing that could have happened to them happened. With under twenty second to go in the game, LeBron James went up for a dagger putback and ended up coming down wrong on his wrist.

Like, way wrong.

Just watch:

That’s not what Cavaliers fans wanted to see, and it was the last thing that Cleveland needed to have happen in a game they were already very much in a position to win.

In a way, it’s so Cleveland that it hurts — literally. LeBron going down like that, especially when he never goes down with any sort of injury, is the Cleveland curse living on in the truest form possible.

Of course, the story had a happy ending, as the Cavaliers ended up winning the game but we were that close to seeing the curse of Cleveland rear it’s ugly head in the worst of ways.
