1. Derrick Rose for Jerian Grant

At first this deal could look very lopsided. A former MVP for a second year player? Thats what it could look like at first glance but for Chicago it might be just what they need.

Jerian Grant never really got a fair shot with 2015-2016 versions of the Knicks. Playing behind Jose Calderon, the Notre Dame product averaged only 16.8 minutes a game. He did have moments that showed he could play in this league.

He scored a career 19 points against against the Raptors. He is quick off the dribble and if he developed a three point shot he would be an all around threat. Grant didn’t shoot more than two threes a game and all his shots were around the hoop. Untapped potential and an athletic threat is something the Bulls would need. Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Rose could form their very only big three.

For the Bulls, the marriage with Derrick Rose could be heading to a divorce. They won’t be inclined to pay him once he becomes a free agent and getting something for him is better than nothing.  Injury prone and constant battles with the media if he is actually healthy or not is a distraction both sides don’t need anymore.
