Shortstop

High-Salary Option Francisco Lindor-Cleveland Indians (4,100): After a big game on Monday with 36.9 fantasy points, Lindor burnt his owners last night by taking the collar against Tampa.  He ended up 0-4 but his still 23-72 (.319) on the month with five doubles, four homers, and 14 RBI. He should be able to bounce back against Chris Archer tonight since he is 2-3 against the Rays’ righty. Lindor has hit .348 at home this season with five of his eight home runs coming at Progressive Field. I like him to have a bounce-back game tonight after last night’s letdown.∗∗∗∗

Mid-Range Option: Xander Bogaerts-Boston Red Sox (3,700): Bogaerts still seems a little under-priced to me and is one of the few Red Sox bats who thrives against lefties like he’ll face tonight.  Bogaerts is 15-38 (.395) against southpaws this season with an OPS of 1.047.  He is 3-9 in his career against Quintana and leads the AL in batting average coming into play tonight with a .347 mark.∗∗

Mid-Range Option: Eduardo Nunez-Minnesota Twins (3,300): While the Twins were piling up 14 runs against Phily last night, Nunez went 0-4 with just a walk. He usually feasts on lefties though (19-54, .333, five homers), so look for a big bounce back game for him tonight against Alex Morgan.  Nunez isn’t really slumping, so I see last night as just an aberration. ∗∗

High-Value Option: Jose Iglesias-Detroit Tigers (2,500)Iggy is still hitting at the bottom of the Tigers lineup most nights, but he is hitting .333 this month and has scored 14 runs.  He struggled in May (hitting just .160), but he’s definitely rediscovered his hitting stroke recently.
